Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence at age 33.  In June of 1776, Jefferson worked for two and a half weeks on the Declaration, writing with a quill pen at a desk he designed, Jefferson went through many drafts.  A small piece of an early draft remains and was used to create this remarkable tote.  Written in Jefferson's hand writing and including all his edits, the draft of the Declaration continues to the back of the tote.  Heavy cotton canvas. Still in bag.  VEGAN

Measures: 14.75"T x 14"W x 4"D with a 10" drop on strap.
